  • Overview

    The Front Desk Receptionist oversees the efficient and smooth day-to-day operations of a busy counseling and social service office while performing a range of daily duties. The position is responsible for providing general administrative duties for the branch’s operations, such as outpatient billing, invoicing, filing, scheduling, phone and fax intakes and answering and routing calls.

    Responsibilities

    • Greets visitors, answers telephones, provide information about all activities and programs.
    • Financial development including outpatient billing and posting of payments. Process all insurance claims including research of denials from all insurance companies.
    • Establish and maintain all agency files, program folders, forms and packets.
    • Complete phone and fax client intakes.
    • Determine caller needs and refer out as required.
    • Perform other assigned tasks.

    Qualifications

    • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Experienced in a busy office environment with a high call volume.
    • Ability to convey accurate information about the agency and its services.
    • General knowledge of good office practices.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Must be available to work the following schedule: Monday –Thursday and Saturday
